Rockstar’s debut GTA 6 trailer will only be 90 seconds in length
The world’s first official trailer for GTA 6 won’t be as long as some fans were expecting. After many years of anticipation this trailer finally arrives. Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer measures less than one and a quarter minutes.
In advance of the trailer’s release, Rockstar Games set up an official YouTube launch, in preparation for players for the release of the trailer on the 4th of December 2023.
Games’ website VGC has looked at the metadata associated with the trailer’s premier configuration, and revealed the duration of the latest video. Based on the metadata of the trailer it is believed that the initial GTA 6 trailer will last one minute and 91 seconds.
The Rockstar’s GTA 6 debut trailer matches similar length to other trailers for the studio’s reveal. The very first Grand Theft Auto V trailer ran for 85 seconds. Red Dead Redemption 2’s initial trailer lasted 70 seconds.
The later trailers for Rockstar Games for GTA V were much more savvier, and lasted 5 mins and 52 secs. The trailer was released just two years after the unveil video from Rockstar’s ten-year-old open-world game.
The first-ever GTA 6 trailer will release this morning at 9am EST 6am PST / 2pm GMT 3 pm CET. As of the writing time more than 40,000 people have joined the GTA 6’s premier chat room, eagerly awaiting the trailer to be live in more than 21 hours.
GTA 6 has been the source of numerous leaks in the past few years. GTA 6 was the target of hackers release of in-development footage from the game’s open world gameplay that showed unfinished graphics as well as gameplay footage of the new GTA game. Another leak that was recently leaked, allegedly from a father of the developer is also showing gameplay footage from the in-development phase that shows the gameplay.
The game has a huge potential. GTA V selling over 190 million copies after its 2013 launch, Grand Theft Auto 6 could be one of the top-selling games ever.
GTA 6 is expected to be released sometime between 2024 and 2025 on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. GTA 6 is expected to launch on PC shortly after its launch on consoles.
