The next major update for Rainbow Six Siege has been put off. Rainbow Six Siege Year 8 Season 4. Operation Deep Freeze will be delayed from its original release date which is to the chagrin of the fanbase’s dedicated players.

In the wake of massive delays for Bungie’s upcoming Destiny expansion as well as a slower than expected Modern Warfare 3 seasons Rainbow Six from Ubisoft Rainbow Six will be the most recent to join a line of live-service titles that be delayed for a long time.

It was a sour decision that Ubisoft put off the release of new content on date of Rainbow Six: Siege Y8S4 launch date. The fans were expecting that the strategic FPS game to launch its latest update as when this article was written, but received unexpected delays to unknown date.

The decision was made to postpone the launch of Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 8 Season 4, Operation Deep Freeze to allow for more testing,” Ubisoft revealed on Twitter. The reason for the reason behind the delay as being in order to “ensure that the most enjoyable game experience for the players.”

The players of the multiplayer competitive game are not averse at the delay in Operation Deep Freeze. Although many of them were able to accept the delayed update, many gamers were irritated by the announcement at last minute that the season’s new pushback was coming.

“Delays are okay, however, this must be more clearly communicated and not just on the day when the season started,” one fan responded on Twitter.

“This could be like telling your teacher theday of your exam that you did not receive the study materials. Make sure you are transparent in your interactions with other players and it’ll work more for you over the long term. It’s a promise that transparency will mean an awful lot to the players. We’re waiting, but don’t be silent.” added another.

Despite the utter failure of the horror-themed spinoff Rainbow Six Extraction, Rainbow Six Siege has maintained its popularity and has a loyal player base. But the absence of openness from Ubisoft has been a major issue in particular for a game which used to be highly acclaimed for the frequent and thorough updates it provided gamers.
