Fortnite Black Widow skin makes the long-anticipated return
It’s been a few years, but Fortnite finally returning the stunningly uncommon Black Widow outfit that caught players by surprise in the year 2019. The first look of this Marvel superhero has been absent for some period of time. Fans are more than happy over its reintroduction.
As per a report from Fortnite News, this exclusive Black Widow look has been missing for 1,668 consecutive days. According to the report, it is the second most sought-after item available within the game that’s free-to-play and fans might want to avoid the “free” portion in order to get the cosmetics for this game.
Being able to see this distinctive style of Natasha Romanov to Fortnite even after so many years is quite interesting. The costume was rumored to have disappeared following the year 2020’s Black Widow Snow Suit appeared in the game, however, it appears that the RNG gods finally have blessed Fortnite players with the Marvel suit.
What makes this outfit for Black Widow so interesting is that it’s completely unique concept designed specifically to play the game. Both Widow as well as Spider-Man were given unique designs, while the others Marvel characters chose to wear classic or contemporary outfits. This Fortnite Spider-Man costume is still very popular. It was featured in the Fortnite x Marvel crossover series and as the backdrop in Across the Spider-Verse.
Although it’s rare, the Black Widow costume isn’t the most rare piece of clothing within the game. In first place would be that of the World Warrior outfit, which is said to never be seen again. Fans are finally able to own the first costume of the Marvel superhero.
There was no reason given as to why Fortnite’s outfit vanished for this long since a variety of Marvel costumes have been rotated into and out of the game from time to time. Certain are more popular than others, but this particular version of Widow was completely gone after 2020. So this was definitely a victory.
It’ll be interesting to find out if the Black Widow outfit is allowed within the PG Fortnite Creative maps. Because some of them are designed with kids in minds, age restrictions were imposed to the costumes of the game, like the Snow Suit.
Fortnite as well as this variant of The Black Widow outfit are available in the present on almost all modern gaming systems.
