Silent Hill Ascension is up for pre-registration now
The wait for Silent Hill is nearly gone because one of the industry’s most terrifying horror giants, the Silent Hill franchise, will soon return. It’s been a good decade since the 2012 Silent Hill: Book of Memories concluded the Silent Hill franchise and Hideo Kojima could not pull Silent Hill out of hell.
The good news is that the wait will soon end since Silent Hill Ascension is now accessible for pre-registration via the Google Play Store. The interactive nature is designed to challenge the established series with new choices for players and a sense of community, and it is closer to home than ever before.
Even though it’s not enough to satisfy the general excitement for Bloober’s Silent Hill 2 remake and the forthcoming mainline game Silent Hill f, any Silent Hill is better than none?

Though Konami has yet to publicly confirm the date of release of Silent Hill Ascension, its newly added listings for Google Play Store Google Play Store ensure we’ll have it available before the end of this month.
According to the store’s page, currently in operation at the time of this writing, Silent Hill Ascension will be released on the 31st of October 2023 around 9 PM ET. Then, new stories are scheduled to be released daily, allowing players to decide together about how the story unfolds, much like Supermassive Games titles.
The game was first announced in October 2022’s Silent Hill Transmission, which laid out the next couple of years of horror-themed games by Konami. It is also the first game on the release schedule, so expectations are bound to be high.
In the wake of Silent Hill Ascension’s debut at Halloween, we can anticipate a steady stream of everyday scenes, each that will have a choice to make and decide which direction the story takes. Because it’s not an entirely complete revival of the original Silent Hill, some fans on Reddit do not seem to be thrilled:
