Ark: Survival Evolved officially shut down
Ark: Survival Evolved servers are now off since Ark: Survival Evolved will be rebranded as Ark: Survival Ascended. Ark The SURVIVAL Ascended.
The weekend before, on the 30th of September, the creators of Ark: Survival Evolved removed the game’s live-streaming service from the internet, and it’s going through another change, with new features, in-game content, and a fresh coating of paint.
The name change is Ark The Survival Ascended. It will be a significant update that uses the latest generation hardware, including top-of-the-line PCs and PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S. The game will also use the Unreal Engine 5.
The update was first announced earlier in the year and set to launch in August. However, the release was delayed for unknown reasons. However, it appears that the upgrade is set to go ahead because players will be in a position not to enjoy Ark: Survival for the next few days as work gets underway in implementing the updates.

The upgrade will not be completely free as both players, old and new, must purchase the upgrade in a different game. That’s a shame, as everyone will have to start fresh because their progress and data will not be transferred.
Suppose you’ve not experienced Ark, the game. In that case, it’s an online, open-world survival game in which players will be dropped onto an expansive map that is filled with creatures, dinosaurs, and dangerous players. The game begins only with the bare clothing you carry before eventually constructing your way up to the top by creating bases, purchasing higher-quality gear, and even mastering the dinosaurs that could be ridden through the fights.
The game has grown in popularity in recent years, leading to the fact that it continues to receive support for this game, with releases and Ark 2 being developed, set to be released around 2024.
For Ark the Survival Ascended, There’s no time frame for release. However, the next generation update is likely to come out in April, which means now could be an ideal time to dive into it if you haven’t experienced it yet, mainly as all players will start all over again.
