It’s no secret that the Warzone world is not a stranger to hosting collaborative events from the world of movies TV, and other video game series. From playable operators to events in the game, the Call of Duty battle royale is often a highlight of crossovers to allow players to join the action and enjoy.

The focus is now on the start of the season. In 6 Season 6, the players look forward to the Halloween party and a variety of new features that will help make a difference in the blindness of the target while firing on the opponent.

Following the release of information about the new season, Activision has revealed that the battle royale game will join teams with Blizzard’s Diablo franchise.

Warzone adds Diablo-themed Operators.

In celebration of the crossover event, Inarius and Lilith from Diablo 4 will appear as playable operators and a brand-unique in-game feature that allows players to battle The Butcher in an epic battle royale.

A new Call of Duty blog article that announced the partnership says: “Demonic altars have also been erected around Vondead, seemingly a source of power for these activities and linked in some way to a feared entity known in myth and legend as The Butcher.”

To those who are brave enough to face The Butcher, Activision says that players can “reap the rewards” by beating The Butcher. Specific details about the rewards have not been revealed yet; however, we’d like them to include firearms, ammunition, or other things to aid you on your way to victory.

As you can see from the comments posted on the blog post, plenty of players eagerly anticipate getting involved in Diablo crossover. One commented: “You guys sucked me back in with this!” Another said: “I can’t freakin’ wait for this.”

The Haunting event begins October 17 in Season 6 Reloaded. Season 6 Reloaded update is anticipated to be the last release of content for the season ahead of the launch in Modern Warfare 3.
