This Weekend, Xur has the Sovereign armor in Destiny 2
Every week the vendor Xur will appear in a new location within Destiny 2. He sells a variety of Exotic and Legendary items. The vendor Xur not only sells items that have decent stats but also allows newer players the opportunity to unlock armor pieces they missed when first released.
This week, Xur is offering the Sovereign Armor Set, associated with the New Monarchy Faction. It was first added to the game in Season One but was re-released after its sunset in Season Eight.
New Monarchy, Future War Cult, and Dead Orbit were all Factions within the Tower. The group was led by Hideo the Executor, who sought strong leadership in order to guide humanity to a Golden Age.
New Monarchy joined forces with the Future War Cult in the Season of the Splicer to oppose the Vanguard’s decision to let the House of Light enter the Last City. The factions left together at the end of that season.
Sovereign’s armor has a sort of knightly and regal theme, which is great for players that like this kind of aesthetics when it comes to their style in Destiny 2. The set Xur offers this week for Destiny2 does not have great stats. However, it is still worth buying for those who do not already own it to be able to transmog.
You can find Xur in the EDZ this week. Drop into Winding Cove, then head to the Lost Sector Icon. You can find Xur by climbing up a fallen tree and reaching a camp on an elevated platform. This week, Xur’s weapons are mostly useless, but Hunters might want to grab the Bombardiers’ Exotic.
