Star Wars Fan Film May Show the Greatest X-Wing Dogfights We’ve Ever Seen
Every Star Wars enthusiast worth their salt has dreamed of being an X-Wing Pilot in a Dogfight, blasting TIEs and defying all odds.
Star Wars Rogue Squadron and its sequels, Star Wars and X-Wing Vs. TIE Fighter lets us live out our dreams virtually. I highly recommend the XWing book series on Rogue Squadron if you’re looking to dive deeper into the lives and experiences of the pilots.
Disney did not release the above film for some time. Kathleen Kennedy, Lucasfilm president, noted that it had been rescheduled in favour of TaiWaititi’si’s Star Wars project. Fans were looking for something to keep them going. Thankfully YouTube channel NobleEngine has created a fantastic fan film entitled Star Wars X-Wing.
You can watch the video below. It shows two X-Wing pilots – Wraith One and Two – fighting in the sky above Coruscant. At the same time, the New Republic fleet attempts to liberate the planetvideo’sideo’s description r” ads: “After its defeat in Endor, the Empire struggles for control over a fractured Ga”axis.” The New Republic seizes the chance to liberate the galactic capital. To add support, the X-Wing pilots from Wraith Squadron jump into an “in.”
The video was directed by Christopher Parks and stars Christopher Parks. It has received close to 800,000. Views as of this writing. Parks says that the video was four years in the making. It is based on the storyline from one of the X-Wing books I mentioned earlier.
This is, for me, one of the most spectacular Star Wars dogfights that I have ever It’s. It’s also a fan project, which makes it even more impressive.
