The FFXIV Make it Rain 2022 Campaign is Coming Soon with New Emotes
Shouts to Fat Joe. Final Fantasy XIV is a seasonal event that has been making it rain for years. The Make It Rain Campaign will begin Friday, June 3rd at 1:00 AM PT and run through Monday, June 20th at 7:59 AM PT. You can also play through an event quest and earn more MGP and get new emotes and discounts on prizes.
To take part in the seasonal quest series, you need to be at least level 15 and have finished the early MSQ quest “The Gridanian/Ul’dahn/Lominsan Envoy” (depending on your starting city). This means that you must have access to the Manderville Gold Saucer. For the Ollier event in Ul’dah-Sites of Naled, (X: 9.4, Y: 9.2), ask for the quest “A Prickly Plaint.” The latest mystery surrounding a handsome little Senor Sabotender who struggles to attract new customers can be found at Ul’dah-Sites of Nald.
You will receive two new emotes upon completion of the event questline: Show left and show right. These emote are great for Gposers, who will likely use them to fuel their friends’ glam. Both emotes can be seen in the preview image.
All players who participate in the Make It Rain 2022 campaign will receive 50 percent more MGP from Gold Saucer game. If you want to get the most out of the campaign, make sure to take part in GATEs (minigame instances in Gold Saucer) that happen every 20 minutes. While the event is ongoing, minigames machines such as Crystal Tower Striker, Monster Toss and Cuff-a-Cur can be purchased at a discounted price from the campaign attendant. You can also get Make It Rain prizes from past years’ events.
