Varinsdottir is now part of Fortnite. The characters from Ubisoft’s series were officially announced by Epic earlier today. Each character will have their own pickaxes and costumes alternatives and emotes or thematic item bundles.

Ezio and Eivor will be in stock at the Fortnite Shop starting April 7th, 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. ET. The V-Buck cost has not been disclosed. However, previous collaborations like Ariana Grande and Vi from Netflix’s Arcane were priced around the 2,000 V Bucks price range. This is equal to USD 20. It depends on whether you choose to purchase the character and all the items it comes with or the bundles that include various extra items.

Ezio was the lead on Assassin’s Creed 2 and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. The skin purchase includes an alternate look with his hood down, an emote, and a Hidden Blade pickaxe. This is rad.

There are more options for Eivor in Assassin Creed Valhalla. This skin includes the Shield back bling and the Raven Clan pickaxe. She wields two handaxes. The latter also includes Eivor’s Axes alternative style. You can choose to have the hood either up or down, as with Ezio.

A Wolf-Kissed Longboat glider will also be available, along with the Viking War Cry Emote, if you own any (or both!) of Eivor’s signature weapons.

You can buy either the skins or weapons separately. The Fortnite Assassin’s Creed collaboration includes the Tales from the Animus Bundle. This bundle packs everything together and adds a few extra goodies: the WolfKissed spray and Raven Clan emoticon.

The Fortnite and Assassin’s Creed collab was certainly interesting. However, it shouldn’t be a surprise that any IP could end up in Fortnite. Ezio would have been nice to have more items. I have fond memories of Assassin’s Creed 2, which I played at 800×600 with the lowest graphical settings on my old PC. It was a game that I still enjoy dearly. The Hidden Blade pickaxe is a great example of this.

It’s still up for debate what Assassin’s Creed means in Fortnite. Imran Khan, Fanbyte’s news editor, is worried that Fortnite will become too complicated if “you must drop a rose upon everybody’s bodies and say Requiescat In Pace.” Danielle Riendeau, editor in chief of Fanbyte, shared some wisdom with Danielle Riendeau: “Ezio! You’re on a mission!” As she didn’t even get her own Funko Pop, I think it’s just a good thing that Eivor is now at the helm.
