DYING LIGHT 2: SUNKEN CITY- HOW TO UNLOCK
Dying Light 2’s Sunken City was an important part of the pre-launch marketing. It highlighted how player choice can unlock a new section of Villedor. This particular option is easy to overlook, as it unlocks a new piece of terrain for parkour and offers new rewards.
Unlocking Dying Light 2’s Sunken City is even more difficult due to the lack of a manual saving system. This means that you can’t run across this area of Villedor if you choose the wrong option during critical dialogs. Below are spoilers for the main story.
Guide to Dying Light 2 Sunken Cities
You will need to complete the entire main story and the point where there is no return to unlock the Sunken City. The Colonel will be encountered during Dying Light 2’s The Breakthrough mission.
You can either trust what he says or choose to side with another character, which, according to our knowledge, could be Jack Matt or Lawan.
Parkouring through the Sunken City will require you to support The Colonel. This is because it is the only way to drain water from the area of Villedor.
This will allow you to potentially get more airdrops faster, but you will need to deal with a new infected that can explode if they get too close.
You can get some pretty high-ranking gear from the Sunken City airdrops. They can also be looted without having to drain the water.
This is all you need to know about Dying Light 2’s Sunken City. You can also find more information about the game at our guides to the moonshine safe code or crossbow.
