Fender’s Riffstation Pro is Free – get the chords for any song on your desktop

Great for experienced and amateur guitarists

Want to try playing your favorite Tunes but Can Not find the chords online? You need Fender Riffstation Pro, which was priced at US$35 (about #25, AU$45) but is now available to get free for both Windows and Mac.

Riffstation Pro supports all the most popular audio formats, including WMA, MP3 and FLAC. If you would like the chords for a song used in a YouTube video you’ll need to convert it into MP3 first.

You’ll be prompted to enter a name and email address to Download Riffstation Pro, but you can enter a address to prevent surrendering your own data. Once you’ve loaded a course, the software is going to take a moment to examine the chords, then display them synced with the music. The results aren’t necessarily perfect, but are usually accurate.
Build your own riffs

Riff station Pro also offers various creative instruments, including the ability to adjust the pitch and speed, and isolate certain frequencies (to remove vocals, for instance ).

The Riff Builder lets you rearrange the chords and beats in a song, and the Chord Viewer will show you how you can play each chord yourself.

Fender is presently working with record labels and producers to present a new premium version of the software, therefore download Riffstation Pro free of charge while you can.
