Death Stranding is delayed in its Apple launch until 2024
Death Stranding was one of the games that was announced for the iPhone 15 Pro, alongside Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village. The game appears to be Hideo Kojima’s first big IP requires more time because the Apple version has been pushed back by 2024.
A tweet by 505 Games confirmed that the Kojima Productions title will need longer development time and advised fans to keep an eye out for a release date of 2024. In the beginning, the game was expected to launch in the year 2018, but an official release date wasn’t announced. As it’s December already, the delay of this port was expected.
It is planned to release Death Stranding Director’s Cut on iPhone, iPad, and Mac and ensure that it’s unlikely that an Apple users are left behind. Given how challenging it will be to transfer games such as this onto Apple devices, despite technological advancements the delay in release is acceptable.
However, now that it’s been proven that the iPhone 15 Pro can handle large games, like Resident Evil 4 remake, the Death Stranding port should run well. It’s true that Death Stranding is a much more difficult game, with larger spaces to explore, therefore improving the game’s performance is vital.
Excited for Kojima’s game is up to a new high since a sequel to the game was revealed. Since it’s a game by Hideo Kojima, it’s difficult to figure out what the sequel actually is about and that’s how Kojima’s developer operates. A lot of fans have said the exact things about the original game, and it’s possible to said that the majority of people do not understand the story.
There was confirmation the fact that A24 is currently working on the Death Stranding movie, that’s a great match if we’ve had the pleasure of seeing the show. The details on the movie are not available at the moment however we believe that the cast of the game will appear.
Dead Stranding Director’s cut is accessible on PlayStation 5 and PC, along with the possibility of an Apple release planned to be released in 2024.
