Operation Monarch to Feature Godzilla & King Kong Easter Eggs
After many teasers, season 3 of Warzone has begun. Players descend onto Caldera or Rebirth Island to await the arrival of Godzilla or Kong in Operation Monarch.
Hidden Easter Eggs are not uncommon in Call of Duty franchises. Season 2 featured the appearance of Gold Vaults on Rebirth Island, and there are more secrets to come.
Raven Software has announced that Operation Monarch will include several themed Easter Eggs related to the monsters while players await their arrival on Caldera.
Warzone Operation Monarch Easter Eggs
Ted Timmins, senior creative director at Raven Software, said that players could expect “a lot” of themed Easter Eggs reminiscent of the movies in a recent interview with CharlieIntel.
The Dig Site point-of-interest is where Clues will likely be found, one of the many map modifications made to Caldera during Season 3. Timmins mentions a glowing axe of immense size visible near the main Resort building.
Timmins also revealed that “really cool Easter Eggs” are being made for Season 4 of Warzone. This is exciting, especially as the reveal of Modern Warfare II draws near. Is Task Force 141 heading to Caldera with its mission?
When does Operation Monarch begin?
A few weeks into season 3, Operation Monarch will begin on May 11. The limited-time mode allows players to take control of Godzilla or King Kong. Operation Monarch will be an action-packed spectacle with many secrets and excitement.
