Sledgehammer Games Delays Vanguard Sniper Rifle Buff
Sledgehammer Games shared many details in a patch for Vanguard on March 10. Season 2 players frequently voice their frustration with their inability to perform sniper rifles, and the developer seems to be listening.
The Season 2.5 update is on the horizon. Sledgehammer has confirmed that the Type 99, Kar98k and 3-Line Rifle will see dramatic performance improvements.
The developer has confirmed that the changes will be delayed until mid-season updates, expected to occur in a few weeks.
Vanguard Sniper Rifle Buff
The March 10 update contained a few bug fixes but didn’t include the expected buffs to some most popular weapons. According to the developer, not all balance changes were “made live.”
The performance of the sniper rifles was not affected by the changes, players quickly noticed. Players can now see the difference in damage and flinch. This allows them to keep their accuracy while aiming at a target.

What time will snipers be buffed?
Sledgehammer Games has stated that the balance changes will be made in conjunction with Season 2.5. Although an exact date has not been announced, the mid-season update will likely be available during the week starting on March 21. To deal with long-range damage, you might want to use a fully equipped assault rifle.
