Halo Infinite launched its latest limited-time event Tactical Ops. This experience is available and will close on March 22, 2022, at 10 a.m. PT / 6 p.m. GMT / 7 p.m. CET.

Tactical Ops has a lot of new features, challenges, and rewards. Everything you need to know about this new event has been broken down.

Halo Infinite Tactical Ops game modes

Spartans can experience Tactical Ops gameplay in the Tactical Ops playlist. This does not include battle rifles, radars or grenades. It is more like hardcore gameplay.

There will be variations of the playlist in the coming weeks that limit players from using certain weapons.

Halo Infinite Tactical Ops challenges

Tactical Ops offers a variety of challenges that are only available to playlist members. It is important to remember that objectives attached to the orange star banner won’t count towards players progressing towards event rewards.

These banners can be used to complete challenges that lead to XP, which contributes to Tactical Ops’ rewards.

There are many challenges.

• Use the Mangler in Tactical Slayer to kill enemy Spartans
• Complete Tactical Slayer matches
• Tactical Slayer offers distinct Killing Sprees
• Sidekick pistol in Tactical Slayer can be used to kill enemy Spartans
• Tactical Slayer: Use the Battle Rifle to kill enemy Spartans
• Tactical Slayer: Kill three Spartans at once in quick succession

• Tactical Slayer: Kill enemy Spartans using a melee attack
