DayZ saw a lot of changes at the end of 2021, including significant new content. As we enter 2022, Bohemia Interactive’s open-world survival video game seems to be getting ready for a review and to set the foundations for the following year. We know what we can expect from the next major update, thanks to the fact that the game releases updates quite frequently. Continue reading to learn everything about the day 1.16 update.

The DayZ 1.16 stability upgrade will not cause server wipes, according to the development team.

As part of the Community Spotlight, the dev team provided a brief update.

One, we were able to confirm the primary purpose of the update. It is “more of an update to fix bugs” and “more of a check-up”. Despite this, we received two new items, the game’s Bizon SMG (and the alarm clock).

You’ll need to play on the experimental update servers if you want to give the new update a try.

Bohemia Interactive is working on DayZ 1.16 Update. However, when this article was written, they had not yet specified when it would be available on live or experimental servers.

According to ScottyB, a PR and Brand Manager for the game, we know that the team plans to unveil the DayZ 2022 Roadmap” likely around the middle of January.”

It looks like it will be several weeks before the 1.16 update arrives. However, we could see it hitting experimental servers a few more weeks ahead of time to allow for testing.
