PoE Archnemesis challenge-league mechanic: What does this do?
What is the PoE Archnemesis Challenge League mechanic, and why does it matter?
The PoE Archnemesis Challenge League mechanic allows players to modify the map by petrified bosses. You can use your mods to find four monsters while exploring these maps. You can use a mod to wake up the boss, which you can beat to receive appropriate rewards for defeating the Monster.
The following Monster you face will have the same mod as you used it. This means that you will have to face the Monster with both mods. This applies to the third and fourth Monsters. The fourth Monster has four mods. This means that you can get loot four times from the first mod, three drops from a second mod, and so forth.
There are some wacky formulas you can use. The developers created a mod to change the drop pool into currencies for the monsters. Combining that with the best rerolls and the bosses will give you 16 possible best currency drop options. These monster modifiers can be used to create over 35 different recipes. All of them have the chance to drop from league monsters. You can locate the mods that you pick up from the archnemesis League storage tab. This tab shows you all of the influenced monster mods you have collected so far.
You cannot trade your rewards from PoE Archnemesis Challenge League if you are interested in co-op. This is all determined by your character’s progress so that players can create crazy situations.
