Marvel Rivals May Be Adding Jean Grey and Elixir in Season 3
Fans of *Marvel Rivals* are buzzing with excitement after a new leak hinted at two possible characters joining the game in Season 3 — Jean Grey and Elixir. A recent image shared on Reddit by user Sypher04_ shows an event page listing the characters’ real names and codenames under the challenge section, sparking speculation across the community.
So far, NetEase has introduced five new characters across the first two seasons, bringing the current roster to 38 familiar Marvel faces. Season 1 focused on The Fantastic Four, with Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic joining first, followed by Human Torch and The Thing. Season 2 began with the debut of Emma Frost, and Ultron is expected to join soon as the second addition of the season.
Jean Grey is a fan-favorite and one of the most iconic X-Men. She first appeared in 1963 and is known for her transformation into the Phoenix. Jean originally used the name Marvel Girl and later became known simply as Jean Grey.
Elixir, whose real name is Joshua Foley, debuted in 2003. He’s an Omega-level mutant with powerful healing abilities, including the ability to resurrect himself. While not as well-known as Jean, his inclusion would add an interesting support role to the game.
It’s worth noting that this information is still unofficial. Previous rumors suggested Jean Grey would join alongside Captain Marvel, not Elixir. As fans await confirmation from NetEase, all eyes are on the game’s upcoming updates and the highly anticipated arrival of Ultron.
