Pokémon GO Details Might and Mastery Battle League Update and Upcoming Cups
Niantic has shared new details about the ongoing *Might and Mastery* season in Pokémon GO’s Battle League, including updates to the Master League, Spring Cup: Great League Edition, and the return of Great League Remix.
Running from March 4 to June 3, the *Might and Mastery* Battle League season allows players to rise through the ranks by battling under CP and type restrictions. From April 15 to April 22, both the **Master League** and **Spring Cup: Great League Edition** are active, offering **4x Stardust rewards** for wins (excluding end-of-set rewards).
Spring Cup: Great League Edition Rules:
– CP limit: 1,500 or less
– Only **Water**, **Grass**, and **Fairy-type** Pokémon allowed
– **Jumpluff**, **Roserade**, and **Toxapex** are banned
### Great League Remix Returns April 29 – May 6:
The Remix format features the same 1,500 CP cap, but bans the **20 most-used Pokémon** by players ranked Ace or higher. Banned Pokémon include:
– **Blastoise**, **Azumarill**, **Talonflame**, **Sableye**, **Galarian Weezing**, **Annihilape**, and others
Players can also earn guaranteed Pokémon encounters by climbing the Battle League ranks:
– **Vullaby**, **Morpeko**, **Frigibax**, **Dreepy**, and **Pikachu Libre**
Timed Research is available in the in-game shop, tracking wins throughout the season. Completing each page (100 wins) unlocks rewards like **Stardust**, **Rare Candy XL**, **Elite Fast TM**, and **Elite Charged TM**.
The season wraps up with **GO Battle Week: Might and Mastery**, running from **May 21 to May 27**, featuring:
– **4x Stardust rewards**
– Free Timed Research
– An avatar hat inspired by **Mustard**
More Raid Day events are expected before the season ends, so trainers should stay ready for additional announcements.
