About My Summer Car
My Summer Car is an open-world survival game currently in production developed by Finnish creator Johannes Rojola of Amistech. The player must assemble upgrade, refurbish and repair the old Satsuma Amp (modelled after the Datsun 100A) using various automotive parts found around the garage, as buying new parts. To make money from parts, the owner may perform various tasks with neighbours such as carrying wood on a trailer pulled by tractors or using a vacuum machine to drain their septic tanks, producing Kilju (Finnish moonshine) and then selling the product to a neighbour who is alcoholic as well as picking up that neighbour from a town’s pub in the early morning hours with a modest amount. Once they have passed the Satsuma in the car inspection centre and fitting the proper aftermarket accessories that the vehicle of the user is able to participate in an annual rallying competition for amateurs with the chance of winning an award and cash prize.
