Star Wars Outlaws is set to launch in late 2024
It’s as if Star Wars fans have been waiting for a game where they can play an incriminate within the Star Wars universe, exploring the inside workings of the universe’s criminal syndicates, largely unexplored by the existing games. Star Wars Outlaws hopes to meet this request as well and was recently given an official release date by the end of 2024.
It was a blog posting on the Disney Parks website that let go of the date for the release of Star Wars Outlaws. Since this is the first information we’ve received about the game’s release date, having it listed as number 22 on “24 Oooh-worthy Things at Disney” could have been a much more modest announcement than publisher Ubisoft would have hoped for.
The game is set between Episode V: Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi; Star Wars Outlaws is a story about Outlaw Kay Vess and her Merqaal friend Nix. The game tells how they try to achieve “one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen” and is this “first-ever open-world Star Wars game” that covers multiple worlds.
The game’s first reveal was six months ago. Star Wars Outlaws has somewhat disappeared from the public’s mind since then. Due to the many top-quality, critically acclaimed RPGs that have come out in the past, Ubisoft will have its work cut out fo make sure that Star Wars Outlaws is going to be e a hit.
At present, speculation is rife regarding whether Cal Kestis might appear in a cameo or not for Star Wars Outlaws. This Star Wars Jedi protagonist’s fate remains determined, and he could roam in the galaxy when Star Wars Outlaws occurs.
No other information regarding Star Wars Outlaws has been verified from Ubisoft or Disney despite the game’s launch date being announced. We hope that by the time we receive a time frame for the release, The anticipation of Star Wars: Outlaws might be slightly higher than “Oooh-worthy”.
