The year 2025’s Call of Duty may be the future-oriented Black Ops 2 sequel
The Call of Duty community is full of excitement following the announcement that popular leaker Tom Henderson shared news that 2025’s entry in the series is the “direct sequel to Black Ops 2.”
The information was released with Insider Gaming the source of Henderson’s report, revealed the game’s plans to be back in the near future around 2030. It is expected that the game would start five years following the incidents in Black Ops 2, leaving plenty of time for well-known characters to return as well as set in motion conflict later on throughout the story.
The game will be released in 2025. However, the lengthy development period could result in a shift in settings. It is explicit that the game will have plans to develop “round-based zombies”, a change to the movement system as well as the reintroduction of the gunfight game mode, as well as “pick 10 create-a-class.”
The fans’ criticism of Modern Warfare 3 is believed to have been heard as the it has been remastered and Black Ops 2 maps will be added to the mix along with a variety of new maps. The fans of recent remakes aren’t too concerned about the game’s future but, as Infinity Ward is apparently “well into development on its next Modern Warfare game.”
A different interesting aspect was the high probability to move away from the “carry forward” method. It allows players to continue to use their existing cosmetics as well as advancement in between games. The concept has been very popular in Modern Warfare games, but they’re set within the same time frame and subsequent games may have difficulty incorporating particular weapons since they are able to jump across distinct periods of time.
If leaks can be taken as a fact If the leaks are to be believed, Call of Duty 2025 may be oddly calling itself “Saturn”. It’s highly unlikely, but it’s likely that it’s the return of outer space that is aided by the advanced technology that was developed in the past which is similar to the 2016’s Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
Whatever the plans that are being formulated We can only pray that the team behind the coming Call of Duty games aren’t required to work through a series of the short development timeframes.
