Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has quickly become this year’s must-play PlayStation exclusive and fans are anxiously waiting to play again in non-Symbiote black costume – however New Game Plus may take longer, along with many features and updates! Unfortunately it was announced today that New Game Plus would be delayed until 2024 along with various features and services that come along with it.

Insomniac informed fans on Twitter of this delay, explaining they need more time to add all this new content while making sure it plays smoothly. At least players will take comfort knowing Insomniac is listening and responding by including various fan-requested features into the game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, in addition to New Game Plus, brings with it several additional features such as changing tendril colors, altering time of day settings and replaying missions – which we are confident will prove particularly helpful for fans looking for that brief moment when Venom takes control.

As all these free improvements are amazing, fans should get excited at the possibility of DLC. Developers have teased that an open-world superhero title may receive DLC featuring Daredevil; which would bring much fanservice for Marvel fans given some Nelson and Murdock imagery within its walls.

As most Spider-Man 2 fans know, Insomniac’s previous Spider-Man title received improvements beyond New Game Plus after launch; these included free costumes like Sam Raimi’s iconic Sam Raimi outfit as well as New Game Plus post launch and post launch patch updates with similar content such as Sam Raimi outfit. Therefore we should expect similar or greater content updates with its sequel (especially since comic-inspired attires may be lacking).
Though not recognized at The Game Awards, most fans agree that Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 for PS5 was this year’s most outstanding exclusive release on Sony’s console. Though its gameplay may not be revolutionary, fans found great satisfaction web-swinging around New York – plus, its story was enjoyable too!

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now available on PS5, with PC ports likely coming within two or three years.
