Halo has made a massive revival, with Halo Infinitesoars as the most-played Xbox game.

Being a huge Halo gamer I was incredibly sad to find so many dissatisfied with the current state of Halo Infinite when it was released And boy, what a mess it became.

The experience was quite good although it was a little expensive because the multiplayer was free-to-play however, the online elements of the game lacked in soul and heart. The game was also devoid of the map and game modes that fans have come to enjoy over the years However, it was beset by technical issues and the constant frustration of microtransactions that allow you to buy weapons and armor for the character you play.

Following the time that the player base disappeared and went on to new games 343 Industries tried to improve the game through post-launch improvements that clearly worked, as people are saying it’s at its most optimal state it’s seen it in.

The results are evident in the statistics too, and Halo Infinite passed Destiny 2 as the top-rated Xbox game in the US which shows that the adored sci-fi actioner is certainly getting better.

Much of the credit has to go to 343 Industries, who have added amazing content to each new season such as in the Infection gameplay mode. It also includes new gadgets and weapons, as well as a lot of bug and stability improvements. It’s also introduced with a huge dose of nostalgia through redesigned Halo 3 multiplayer maps and Master Chief’s armour of Halo Combat Evolved however this latter game has received criticism for taking a whole game to wear.

The credit for this also is due to Destiny 2 strangely, however, since it recently saw its lowest player count ever because of Bungie cutting off a shocking quantity of staff. Although the majority of blame was shifted towards Sony it’s nonetheless left a sour smell in the mouths of gamers, causing players to take a lengthy time off from playing.

However, it should not be able to steal Halo Infinite it is the Halo game that was originally intended to be and merits its return after all the work in fixing the game.
