Mortal Kombat 1 reveals first look at Omni-Man with new gameplay.
Mortal Kombat’s initial DLC character, Omni-Man, stars in the latest gameplay reveal and is a total slug.
Perhaps the most excellent fighting game this year, Mortal Kombat 1, is a game that has provided an unbeatable quantity of bone-crushing, gory excitement since the game’s initial launch, provided it’s not played with Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch…
We described the game as one that was a “safe but gloriously gory delight” in our review, which you are able to look up here, and we were awed by the stunning visuals, the familiar gameplay, and the re-imagining of old and well-known characters.
Although the most popular characters are available, such as Raiden, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and others, There are a lot of fresh faces to join the roster, including the forthcoming DLC fighters. The very first non-human fighter that will be joining the competition is none other than the Invincible’s villain Omni-Man, who was recently shown a first unveiling, and we can claim that the fans loved the look of what they observed.
Announcing the game’s gameplay via the official Mortal Kombat Twitter account, NetherRealm stated: “The realms will tremble under the weight of the Viltrum Empire,” and then a full minute of Omni-Man breaking things down.
The actions of his character appear to have taken inspiration from his Amazon Prime Video show, which is scheduled to release its second season. His deaths are something to be slain for. Literally.
The first move is to hold his adversary in front of an unmoving train. It is a grotesque move that he performed on the son Mark (Invincible) in the finale of the first season. In another move, he is able to smash his opponent’s skull with his hands using the same technique that Red Rush used in the first season’s opening episode.
The actor looks stunning. The best part is that the character actor, J.K Simmons, is set to reprise his character so that you can expect some intriguing conversations between Omni-Man as well as the other characters. We are looking forward to the back-and-forth and fight with his villain, Homelander, who’ll also play as a DLC-exclusive player.
The initial wave of DLC available for Mortal Kombat 1 will be released in November on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
