Payday 3 has been around for a couple of weeks, and after countless hours of play and playing, I’ve concluded that Payday 3’s matching method is a pain. The reasoning behind using the system in this way seems to make lots of sense. However, it’s just too repetitive and challenging to comprehend often.

I’m not saying I’m in love with the entire game and believe it’s an excellent game. However, the game’s levelling system can bring the game to a slow halt and make Payday 3 a bit of a slog. In particular, certain weapons cannot be modified at these high levels.

If you’re unsure how the levelling system works within Payday 3, I’ll summarize this as well as I can.

The Payday 3 Leveling System

Two central advancement systems within Payday 3: There is the ability to use weapons and skills in addition to the levels of your character. Both of them are broken.

What you can do to improve the level of your Payday 3 character is complete the challenges to earn points. For example, you’ll have to climb 5000 meters in a row for 100 infamy points. Each character level will require around 400 to 500 points.

It’s a fact that there’s an actual “XP” system in the game for character. However, there’s an XP program to use weapons and other skills.

When you complete the heist, you will earn the XP for your weapon and skills. the XP for the gun is used to unlock new weapons, and Skills XP helps unlock the skill if you do not already have it unlockable.

It sounds excellent and all good. Take on challenges to improve your character. You can also finish your heist by using the tools you can use to earn XP. But it’s not logical for me.

The issue lies in Payday 3’s system of levelling

Payday 3 is a different game. Payday 3, unlike Payday 2, doesn’t earn XP when you complete the heist; however, it’s tricky. This means you will not make anything besides cash for finishing the heists. Your progress is tied to meeting the challenges.

I have found myself attempting to work out how to advance the game rather than playing the game. Forn example, I’ve been playing “No Rest for the Wicked” more than 30 times, grinding through kill challenges for weapons. That leads me to my second aspect. Sometimes, the games don’t finish properly; however, this is an issue with the technology, far less one of game design.

The Payday 3 rewards are booming. The reality is that there aren’t any rewards for completing heists in stealth mode. Thee majority of challenges are centred around taking down. It’s a tremendous thing.? This is a must for Weapon XP! Nope!.

The weapon XP does not depend on kills. Instead, it’s connected to the completion of the heist when that weapon is outfitted. The use of the gun does little to the level of the weapon.

However, this decision is in a sense as it permits gamers who stealth to earn weapon exp even when they do not utilize it. However, there must be an incentive to use the gun.

Good news for the coming days

Through many live streams, Starbreeze Studios revealed that they plan to revise the levelling system, include additional challenges and improve their clarity.

Starbreeze is even planning to incorporate the challenges into Heist-themed gameplay by providing progression bars whenever you progress through an obstacle and hints to assist you in completing them. This is a reference in the video on YouTube by Maikyu.

I can understand why the developers designed the game in this manner to allow players to participate with as many styles as possible. The idea is that people don’t get stuck grind in one mode for the entire game as they did in Payday 2. However, that strategy isn’t working today, with many players content to grind through levels of weaponry.

If I were Starbreeze, I’d consider adding Infamy points towards the completion of heist-sands adding weapons XP rewards for employing the weapon. A weapon’s XP, when it’s completed, is an excellent idea for stealthy players, but not fast enough for noisy players.
