The Call of Duty series is one of the most adored and successful video game franchises ever, and the upcoming release of this year certainly won’t be a one-off.

Since the game’s launch in 2003, we’ve received every Call of Duty release weekly, along with some stops. Whether players purchase the most recent game to play in the single-player experience, multiplayer, or maybe the zombies, Call of Duty usually ranks at the top of the sales chart.

Over the years, the Call of Duty multiplayer has become more commonplace due to the launch of a free battle royale Warzone in March 2020. Since it is a game that is free to play, Activision goes extremely heavy with monetization to get players to snap up the most recent skins.

Activision has even introduced stylish crossover skins with partnerships with popular Amazon show The Boys and Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft. There are even skins designed for the legendary football player Lionel Messi and the singer Nicki Minaj. That brings us to the current topic for discussion.

A well-known creator of content, Dr Disrespect, says that Call of Duty series has abandoned gameplay and the series only cares about the crossover skins. In fairness, Dr. Disrespect may be in some way right. Yes, the game developers are concerned about making the games as possible. It’s, after all, their reputation at stake. It is true that from publishing from a publisher’s standpoint, victorious skins may generate a lot of money.

According to Dexerto’s report on the issue of the latest Spawn skin available in Modern Warfare II or Warzone, The doctor said: “How much do you believe it would cost to acquire Spawn into the game? Maybe a million, or even more? They then put their productions into the video. They’re producing high-quality production elements for the new skins of this game!”

Then he added: “The state of this industry is a mystery to me. What’s happening? But I’m sure we’ll be there. That’s not the kind of thing I was raised with. It was all about games and enjoying the part of playing games, But now, people get sucked into high-quality video content. The time has come to bring back the spirit of this business.”

In other news, an updated trailer for Dr. Disrespect’s upcoming game is out, and it is pretty awesome. As well as, the filesize of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has been released and could cause a significant problem for your console.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be released on the 10th of November, 2023, on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
