A revival of Rock Band/Guitar Hero has been long overdue; I have been a coward
Ah The Guitar Hero and Rock Band series are timeless classics of the past that let gamers dream of performing a fantastic song to a crowd of fans at Wembley Stadium.
They were both fantastic franchises in which, just for a few seconds, we were fooled into believing that we could perform musical instruments, regardless of whether it was playing a guitar or smashing drums. The games were fun! Although, fair enough to say, especially in the more complex setting, some degree of eye-hand coordination was required.
It’s been a long time between the releases within either franchise, The Last Guitar Hero arriving in 2015 and Rock Band in 2017. In the years since fans have asked for both franchises to be resurrected with triumphant enthusiasm.

There is a question: can Guitar Hero and Rock Band ever make a comeback for PC and next-gen consoles? It remains to be determined. It’s possible that if the public creates enough noise by banging on the drums, there’s some chance.
