Will Return [ When? ] Heroes from past Medal of Honor titles will return as playable characters: Mother (Mom), Preacher (Monk), Voodoo and Voodoo will make appearances, with an added character known as Stump (Penh). Using Frostbite 2 engine makes possible special effects like stacks of paper flying away from shots fired into tables or walls as they pass, swinging chandeliers or concrete debris being scattered about.
Tier 1 representatives assisting with mission development for single player campaigns deemed it inappropriate for such an incidental plot to appear during any mission in single player campaigns. Some operations successfully conducted by operatives may be too personal for them, yet their result are widely known by the public, so no missions relating to these events will appear in the game.
As part of their final game in this series, publisher responded to public opinion (from families of soldiers killed at the hands of militants) by replacing Taliban militants originally intended as bad guys with Opposing Force militants as “bad guys.” Notably, in 2010, in response to the Taliban scandal surrounding Medal of Honor: Warfighter game production, game producer Greg Goodrich filed twice to withdraw and was ultimately retained and still works on Medal of Honor: Warfighter project.
On March 2, 2012 (according to its pre-order page on Amazon), we finally know when this game will be out for release – prior to GDC which officially makes an announcement from March 6, 2012 until October 23, 2012.
On August 1st 2012, the initial single player campaign trailer was made public revealing its story through Preacher. A second one will follow mid September.
