As is evident, they will not abandon Fortune III altogether – its resources still represent an attractive target to each faction competing for dominion of this planet. Korolev, ICA, and Osiris use prospectors mercenaries from different corners of Fortune III during weather breaks between attacks to search out as much loot as they possibly can before another cycle attack strikes and seize the opportunities presented.
At its heart, The Cycle PC Download features action from a first-person perspective (FPP). We complete tasks assigned by each faction before heading onto Fortuna III’s surface in search of valuable resources to meet our missions’ objectives and gain as many assets as possible – which won’t always be easy since specific areas only become accessible during certain cycles. Furthermore, other prospectors might often be present.
Though logic dictates cooperation, bloody skirmishes frequently ensue on this planet as nothing stands between competitors trying to take away one another’s loot and taking them by force from those they defeat. Furthermore, aggressive fauna exist here too and even local plants may prove deadly threats if necessary; should we manage to escape, the nearest rescue ship must still safely transport us back home in one piece if this battle can ever end well for all involved!
