Children of Morta, an action RPG, is a game where players don’t control a single hero, but rather a family of extraordinary heroes. Hack’n-slash your way through procedurally generated dungeons. Caves and lands. And lead the Bergson family, complete with their faults and virtues.
LOCAL COOPERATION is available already in the game. Two players can fight together against Corruption. ONLINE COOP is currently in development and will be available in a later update. Steam also offers the Remote Play Together function. You can play online multiplayer local games, with Steam Friends even if the game does not support it natively.

GAMEPLAYThe gameplay is a mix of adventure, hack-and-slash, and action. As you level up, not only do your characters grow but so does the family. You can switch family members in between dungeons and there is no permanent death.
CHARACTERS AND SKILLSRanged attack, Magic spells, blocks, stuns, healing, passive skills, and more – all are there to be discovered, unlocked, and upgraded.
Choose from 7 different members of the family, all with their own unique skills. John, the father – is a warrior who protects himself with his sword and shield. Linda, the elder daughter, is a skilled archer. Kevin is a silent fighter with daggers.
Lucy is a fiery and brave fire mage. Mark is a martial artist who practices mindfulness. Joey smashes enemies with a heavy sledgehammer. Apan is the newest addition to the clan. He’s a powerful healer, but also a strong defender.
