Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an action adventure video game developed in Scotland by Rockstar North. This video game was first released on October 4, 2004, for the console PlayStation 2 1.

It was later marketed. The video game was released in June 2005 for Xbox 4 consoles and Microsoft Windows PCs 2. In 2010, GTA SA was also released on Mac. After that, the game was released on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone in December 2013, and then on Xbox 360 in October 2014 (remastered), to commemorate its 10th birthday. San Andreas is a fictional state located in Nevada, California, and Arizona. It has three cities, Los Santos in Los Angeles, San Fierro in San Francisco, and Las Venturas in Las Vegas. There are also deserts, mountains, lakes, and forests between the cities.

San Andreas is set in 1992 and follows the adventures of a Carl “CJ Johnson” gang member who returns to his hometown Los Santos after learning of his mother’s murder. Johnson’s old friendships and relationships with his family are put at risk. Carl struggles throughout the game to gain more influence and find out who killed his mother. He is trying to restore his gang’s former glory.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, like previous titles in the Grand Theft Auto series, has been the subject of controversy, not only because of its violent script but also for the “hidden game” (side missions) that are included. Gambling was banned in America for kids under the age of 17 due to the violent content and minigames containing sex. In Europe, it is recommended for those under 18.
