This is a short synopsis of this Warhammer RTS. Then, some screenshots.
The story of “Warhammer Age of Sigmar Realms of Ruin” takes place in Ghur – the brutal Realm of Beasts. This is a violent, inhospitable land, where only those who are the most powerful can survive. The single-player campaign sees the Order send the Stormcast Eternals, celestial, newly reforged warriors, to this world in order to take it back. The Kruleboyz is a sinister Orruk group that calls Ghur home. They threaten the settlement of the Stormcast Eternals after they have established a tenuous foothold. The campaign begins with a twisted tale of survival as Sigrun and her Stormcast unit venture deep into the swamplands to find a powerful source of arcane energy that will protect them from the Kruleboyz. This Age of Sigmar story, co-written by Black Library’s Gavin Thorpe and based on Dawnbringer Crusades of the most recent tabletop edition .”
In June we will reveal the full game and at a later date a beta. It is not yet known when the game will release, but both PCs and consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series) are expected to be supported.
The moment is a good one to be a Warhammer fan, particularly after the launch of Boltgun. Realms Of Ruin looks great, but let’s see if the momentum continues.
