Frictional Games has announced that players can test out their upcoming horror game to get an idea of the gameplay and horrors they will encounter.
The player must navigate through the dark and long corridors of an underground bunker to find clues and equipment that will help him on his adventure. He also has to avoid or fight the dangerous creatures that live there. The game has been described as partially open-world, meaning that players can explore the bunker at their own pace.
It’s no surprise that Amnesia is full of scares and spooks. However, you are not completely helpless. As you explore the underground, you’ll have a revolver and other tools that can help your survival.
Survivors’ freedom to play is what makes this game so exciting. According to the developers, the game’s core is the ability to experiment and learn from mistakes. Most obstacles have more than one way of solving them. The game will remember every decision you make through puzzle solving, exploration, and combating threats. It may respond differently depending on what choices you made. The game is a bit mysterious and interesting, to say the least. But a horror that reacts to and adapts to you sounds brilliant.
Amnesia’s first game, Amnesia – The Dark Descent was played by YouTube stars like PewDiePie or Markiplier. The game spawned several sequels and a cult horror series. This new entry promises an even scarier experience.
