Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s gameplay trailer is amazing
Spidey fans, gather around! Finally, the day has arrived. PlayStation Showcase has officially begun, and with it comes the first gameplay video for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as well as a release date.
It’s great to finally hear some news about the game. People have speculated about it for what seems like an eternity. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been a one-player game, just as expected, according to Insomniac and Peter Parker’s actor Yuri Lowenthal. You may also want to read the prequel comic to see what Peter and Miles were up to in between Miles Morales, and Spider-Man 2. But I’m not going to delay any further. Now let’s get into the gameplay. I’ll say that Yuri is right. The word “astonishing” fits perfectly.
How nice to see Miles, Peter and the gang swinging around New York once again. What a stunning game! Who was it that I did not expect to meet in KRAVEN the HUNTER? I had already been excited about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but my excitement just went to the next level.
Peter looks so cool with the Symbiote Skin! It does appear to have altered his personality a bit. Kraven’s goal is to cause havoc in New York. It appears that the map will cover more than ever before. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to feature a brand-new interface that will require some time to get used to.
We still do not know the exact date of the release, but I would guess that it will be either in September or October.
The PlayStation 5 version was released today as a separate title. It had previously been included only in the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. If you already own the PS4 version, it’s available for purchase outright or as an upgrade. Miles Morales is part of the PS Plus extra level.
