You may not have to wait too long if you want another Star Wars game after you finished Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Ubisoft is believed to be releasing its upcoming Star Wars game much earlier than originally expected.

There are a lot of Star Wars titles in development. Rumors suggest that Knights of the Old Republic: Remake may be on the rocks. However, we might get an update soon on the Quantic Dreams eclipse. There is also Uncharted developer Amy Hennig’s untitled Star Wars title, to mention a few. The upcoming open-world entry from Ubisoft could release as early as next year.

reports that Ubisoft is planning to release its upcoming Star Wars game in “early” 2024. Ubisoft announced its future release schedule during a recent investor call. Avatar Frontiers of Pandora and Skull and Bones were listed. Kotaku has reported that sources close to Ubisoft have confirmed this “large mystery game” as the Star Wars open-world game.

We know little because the game is expected to be released in a few months. Massive is developing it, the same company that created Divisions 1 and 2. It was described as “story-driven” when announced. It was developed using the Snowdrop Engine, which also powered Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.

Massive invited players in December to submit an application to become playtesters. It makes sense, then, that the game is close to being completed. The Ubisoft forward is scheduled for the 12th of June. We should know more soon.
