Square Enix offers a sneak peek at the new mounts and minions coming in Final Fantasy patch 6.4
Every major patch for Final Fantasy XIV brings new mounts, minions, and other items to the game. The Live Letter 77, and the preliminary patch notes show that Patch 6.4 will not be an exception.
FFXIV director and producer Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida showed off some of the upcoming minions and mounts in Patch 6.4, during Live Letter 77. The recently released preliminary patch notes also gave players a sneak peek at the upcoming content. The following is a listing of the new mounts and minions that players will be able to add to their collection.

The newest update will feature a wide variety of minions. Live Letter 77 featured an adorable baby chimp as well as a Ninja dog and a dapper otter. In the patch notes, a tiny version of Ruby Weapon was also shown. It still managed to be intimidating and adorable while looking small.
Yoshi-P said during the Live Letter, that even though these minions are all we have seen so far there are still more.
The Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.4 adds Mounts.
The new mounts include a Mandragora Queen that is a brand new addition to this line, as well as an axolotl and robot designed for piggyback riding.
Patch 6.4 will launch on the 23rd of May. Those that enjoy collecting and finding every minion and mount in the game can look forward to a great deal. The latest Live Letter, as well as the preliminary patch notes, showcased some. However, there will be even more for players to explore once the content is live.
