Toylogic announced today that PLAION will launch Warlander, a third-person multiplayer online game for free, on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The game also supports cross-play. This allows players from all platforms to play and connect together. Warlander’s PC version was released on Steam in January, with a peak player count of 23,428.

Warlander features up to 100 players split into five different armies. They are all competing to destroy each other’s castles. Players can choose from three different classes, each with their own playstyle: the powerful warrior, the magical mage, or the versatile priest. You can use catapults to turn the tide in the battle. Siege towers and battering rams are also available.

Toylogic thought it important to add this feature so that new console players can interact with those on the PC.

Warlander was launched on PC and received a wonderful reception from both fans and soldiers. We have been overwhelmed by the feedback we’ve received. Now, we can bring PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S gamers into our fold with cross-play. Join us for 100-player fights, no matter what platform you are playing on. Yoichi Take, President and Game Director of Toylogic said.
