Assassin’s creed: Sun’s Shadow takes place in Aztec history
Few game series have as many projects under development as Assassin’s Creed. The sheer number of projects is so overwhelming that it’s hard to keep track.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage should be the first one to come up, as it’s going to be released next. The game is supposed to release at sometime this year. However, we haven’t received any official information on the exact date ( Some believe that it may be August).
In the distant future, codename Hexe will be released, a game that many believe could have taken place during the Witch Trials. Many fans believe that if this were true, it would be the perfect time for a woman to play the protagonist.
Ubisoft is working hard behind the scenes to create some great games, but it’s apparently not enough. One user on Reddit has created a concept for Assassin’s Creed in the Aztec era. It sounds fantastic.
User luisparive19 shared his idea on the r/assassinscreed Reddit. It was described as “located in the Aztec Empire during the 15th Century, in Tenochtitlan, Mexico City, where Tlaloc would betray the king’s advisors, (templars), and be recruited by Order of Assassins in order to keep peace”.
The user, however, has not indicated that the project will be playable. So, as awesome as Sun’s Shadow may sound, it is likely to remain an idea for all eternity. It might inspire some Ubisoft developers.
