PlayStation Plus premium Gets some classic retro games for May 2023
It’s safe to say not many of the new PlayStation Plus games were anticipated. Although Syphon Filter Logan’s Shadow seemed like a no-brainer, given how many games from the Syphon Filter catalogue are now being ported over to, erm… the PS Plus Game Catalogue, was anyone expecting Pursuit Force?
This May, the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue will be bringing you a selection of retro games.
PS4, PS5

– Pursuit Force | PS4, PS5
PS4
Sony thought we wouldn’t notice, but it was us who noticed. We think it is the greatest Ghostbusters title of all time.
Pursuit Force, a videogame classic for the PSP is one of the best video games you’ve ever played. The game allows you to drive a speedboat, a car, and even a helicopter. You can also take over enemy vehicles if your own vehicle breaks down. This is like Burnout mixed with Dead To Rights. It’s a ton of fun.
Blade Dancer Lineage of Light, another PSP title that is being ported to PS4 and PS5 is a strange choice. It’s more of a JRPG with a twist, and it has a lot of turn-based gameplay. It only scored 60 when it was released in 2006. But maybe, almost 20 years later, players will finally connect with the game. It’s unlikely that it will be able to do so, given the fact that even Famitsu gave this game a score of 26.
Do you want to play these games now? These games will be available from May 16, 2023. PlayStation Plus Premium is priced at PS13.49/$17.99/EUR16.99/month.
