Modern Warfare 2 players say that cheat reporting in the game is “useless”
It’s frustrating to encounter a cheater when playing Modern Warfare 2. Hackers continue to gain unfair advantages despite recent improvements in Ricochet’s anti-cheat system.
Hackers are ruining the ranked game. When fans are not fighting against cheaters, A bug causes the front halves of guns to disappear, much to their dismay.
Modern Warfare 2 has a system for reporting hackers, but some fans say it is “useless” and does not work.
Modern Warfare 2 Cheat Reporting Is It Useless?
Reddit user_hdjuarez claims that the system of reporting cheaters is not effective in capturing them, but it punishes innocent players with erroneous voice and text reports.
The frustrated fan says, “It’s great that I can disable my text and voice chat because some random guy gets angry and reports me. But cheaters are reported in mass every time and they still cheat.”
Some players are in agreement with the system that is currently being used to prevent hackers from ruining games.
Innocent players who have done nothing wrong but are still banned because of false reporting continue to be frustrated.
The reporting system prioritizes wrongful bannings over those who violate the Call of Duty Code of Conduct, despite the fact that the anti-cheat is improving.
It’s possible that the Season 3 Reloaded patch will address the problems with the Modern Warfare 2 report system.
Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer will improve the sooner they stop banning players who have outgunned opponents and catch those responsible.
