Ubisoft has released Rocksmith 2014, a music video game. This game is described as a “replacement” for the 2011 rhythm videogame Rocksmith, rather than a sequel.
Rocksmith 2014 recommends that you use the “Hercules”, a USB cable that connects to the standard 1/4 inch (6.35mm) output jack on most electric and bass guitars.
Additional hardware may be required for other guitars such as acoustic or electric guitars. Rocksmith 2014 has three development paths for rhythm, lead, and bass guitars.
