It was published by Nintendo on Wii U and Nintendo Switch. It is the sequel to the 2009 game Bayonetta.
It was directed by Yusuke Hashimoto, produced by Hitoshi Yamagami and Atsushi Inaba, with Hideki Kamiya as a series creator.
