The Italian Front mountains are the new frontier of World War One. It is beautiful and deadly at the same time. Isonzo is inspired by the two-year struggle to control the Isonzo River valley and the Alps during World War One. You will be able to participate in critical historical offensives at the Italian Front with the new Offensive mode. You can lead the charge across breathtaking Italian landscapes.

Laying sandbags, wire, ammo crates, and trench periscopes can create a dynamic battlefield. Participate in historical offensives, including the Sixth Battle of the Isonzo and the Strafexpedition. As the attackers advance, the fighting will shift through many different landscapes within one offensive. This is a reflection of the actual battles. Based on field trips and research, everything is recreated, including sound effects, uniforms, and the houses, vineyards, and trenches you will be fighting for.

Isonzo Pre-Installed:

Support your troops with an accurate flare system. Flare guns can be used to mark targets for artillery and biplane flybys. Different colored flares can also be used to guide them. After the big guns have disarmed the enemy, close the gap with an Arditi knife or mountaineer’s pickaxe. You can use heavy machine guns, mortars, and mountain guns for more direct fire support. You can choose from six classes that are based on historical combat roles. Then, you can build your loadout using a variety of weapons, equipment, and perks related to each class. This will give you flexibility and variety while keeping you grounded in the real-life gear real soldiers would have used. You will be using wire cutters and bandaging your fellow soldiers. One shot can cause death, and even more, minor injuries can result in rapid bleeding.
