Severance: Blade of Darkness, an action-adventure video game developed by Rebel Act Studios, is published by Codemasters. Although the four protagonists start their journey at different places, they eventually follow the same path.
The game’s final goal involves obtaining Ianna’s sword, killing the evil necromancer Dal Guirak and then descending into the Abyss to confront the Chaos Child. Only players who have collected all the runes from previous levels can access this final skirmish.
These runes collectively give Ianna the goddess’ blessing and empower her sword. Before entering Dal Gurak’s tower, players must ensure they have six magical runic tablets.
