Shelter 2 lets you play as a mother lynx who looks after her kittens, keeping them safe and healthy. The player can also instruct the cubs to drink from the river. The player must ensure that the cubs return safely to their family’s den at night. Seasons affect the availability of food and water. The game begins with the mother lynx becoming pregnant and setting up a den. The player names each kitten. Those that survive the playthrough can be used to build the next generation of your family tree.
