The controversial Yu-Gi-Oh card is not banned after 17 years
Konami’s Yu-Gi-Oh! Since its inception back in 1999, the Trading Card Game has seen a lot of progress. The game has sold more than 35 billion cards as of January 2021. That is an incredible number that I am still trying to comprehend.
Some cards have been banned from tournament play over the years. Each tournament will have a winner. However, it is unfair if one card dominates the whole thing. This could change, however, as one major card was unbanned after 17 year.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The ‘Change of Heart” card can now be added back to trading card game players. Konami did not ban the card during their latest update to the list.
In 2005, ‘Change of Heart” was banned. This spell card allows you “Target one enemy monster” and “take over it until the end phase”. It’s clear why this card was removed from tournaments.
However, ‘Change of Heart” is not now prohibited. Konami moved the card to the limited’ list. This means that players cannot have more than one ‘Change of Heart’ card in their “Main Deck”, Extra Deck, or Side Deck.
Yu-Gi-Oh! It has been popular for years, but its popularity has increased in recent years. This is partly due to Yu-Gi-Oh’s digital version. Master Duel was the key to Konami’s record-breaking profits in the last financial year. The game sold 20 million copies. If you have ‘Change of Heart,’ now is the best time to get it.
