THE BEST ELDEN RING MODS – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT STEAM WORKSHOP SUPPORT

It’s hard to believe, but Elden Ring has arrived. FromSoftware’s latest title was a hot topic long before its launch. It is not surprising that its dedicated community quickly assembled its first modifications, even though Steam Workshop support was unavailable at launch.

Elden Ring is a significant shift in the developer’s approach to open-world elements. Mod enthusiasts hope that there will be a shift in attitudes regarding Steam Workshop support.

Mods to the Best Elden Rings

The topic of Elden Ring Mods has not been a significant focus of the game’s marketing until now. This is consistent with previous titles on the developer’s list.

Official mod tools were not available for the Dark Souls trilogy or Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Steam Workshop support was unknown, but it didn’t stop people from creating many mods.

These can be as simple as changing the game’s color scheme to reskins or more complex projects that change gameplay elements such as monster spawns.

  • Support status for Elden Ring Steam Workshop: Unconfirmed, could not come after-launch

However, the absence of official mod tools limits the complexity of the best mods in the game. According to what we know so far, Elden Ring appears to be in a similar position as its predecessors.

You’ll still find our list below of the top Elden Ring mods. We’ll be adding more as we discover them.

  • Anti-Cheat Toggler & Offline Launcher
  • Stop the game
  • Elden ReShade – HDR FX
  • Ultrawide Support
  • There are no videos of startups
  • Extended Field of View
  • Eldest Ring
  • Remove Vignette
  • Grand Merchant

Remember that you can be banned from most of the top Elden Ring mods if you use them online. You can reduce your chances of being banned and keep the game safe by ensuring that you have the game set to offline mode.

If you decide to play online with mods, it’s a good idea also to reverse any changes to the game files.

Anti-Cheat Toggler & Offline Launcher

This mod disables the anti-cheat feature of Elden Ring mods and puts you in offline mode to make it easier to use them safely. If you intend to go online later, you will need to undo any modifications you made to the game. Grab it from NexusMods.

Stop the game

The default setting for Elden Ring is not to allow you to pause the game. This is a problem when you have to rush out during boss fights or in an area patrolled by enemies. This mod solves that problem and allows you to determine how evil your cat is without worrying about knights in shining arms impaling you while you’re gone. It can be found on NexusMods.

Elden ReShade – HDR FX

There are many Reshades available, regardless of the game. Elden Ring is one such example. This mod is unique because it makes subtle changes to the game’s lighting without changing its mood or visuals. Elden ReShade can be found on Nexus Mods.

Ultrawide Support

This is third-party software, not an actual mod. However, it is worth noting that you don’t need to compromise when playing Elden Ring ultrawide monitors. Flawless Widescreen allows you to jump over this hurdle while offering a few other useful options.

There are no videos of startups.

This mod removes the logos that appear when you launch the game and exit it. It requires you to unpack all the files. This can increase the game file size by up to 100GB, according to the creator. It can be found on NexusMods if you don’t mind.

Extended Field of View

This mod allows you to see more of the Lands Between while you play. It can be downloaded from Nexus Mods.

Eldest Ring

Eldest Ring mod adds several changes to item scaling, stat scaling, and a few buffs. This mod slightly increases the health amount and cap, doubles discovery scaling from Arcane, and replaces the Focus bonus from Clarifying Horn Charm by slow FP regeneration. More changes are planned in the future, and you can grab the mod Nexus Mods.

Accessible Mode for Elden Ring

FromSoftware games are notorious for being difficult. This mod allows you to easily navigate the first open-world game in the studio’s history. You can hit harder, do minor damage and get ten times more runes per turn than your enemies. Although it’s not the most beautiful mod, it’s still beneficial.

Remove Vignette

This mod removes the vignette effect, which darkens your screen’s edges. Get it from NexusMods.

Grand Merchant

You can access many items via the Item Crafting menu with the Grand Merchant mod. These items come without any resource cost, so you can stock up on what you need for your next adventure. It’s available at Nexus Mods.

Non-Essential Elden Ring Mods

    • Black Blaidd’s set
    • White Cleanrot Kit
    • White Fire Monk Set
    • Zelda Master Sword (Higher quality)
    • Torrent To Kaiden – Horse Replacement
    • Ebony and Black Knife Set

It remains to be determined if this is FromSoftware’s game that departs from the norm and adds Steam Workshop support.

The Elden Ring will be available on consoles and PCs starting February 25. It’s available at Fanatical for a discounted price of PS41.99/EUR50.39, the equivalent in your region and other major stores.
