ALBION ONLINE LANDS AWAKENED UPDATE7 IMPROVES CONTROLLER SUPPORT and MORE
Albion Online’s latest patch has arrived. It brings a new set of tweaks to the popular MMORPG.
The most notable of these changes is improved controller support, mob tweaks, and balance fixes for fighting, but that’s just the tip of an iceberg in the latest renovations for an ever-shifting title.
This is the 7th update to the Lands Awakened update, released late last year. The patch gave the game a significant overhaul to its open-world world sandbox and also improved the visual quality. This patch was a considerable improvement over the original version launched in July 2017.

Attack-and-Defend-Ping Hotkeys
Hotkeys can be used to trigger an attack- and defend-pings based on your current location. The player can set these hotkeys, but the defaults for them are:
-
- Attack: Ctrl-P
-
- Defend: Shift-P
-
- Guild Logo changes
The game has been removed all guild logos that featured political symbols. These logos were initially part of a contest held before the official launch of the game.
-
- The old logo “Hammer and Sickle” has been replaced by the new “Hammer” logo.
-
- The old logo “Red Army” has been replaced by the new symbol “Bear.”
Support can be contacted by guilds affected by this change to request a once-off shift in a new logo.
Two guilds that created the logos can now send us a new logo design as a replacement.
Mob Modifications
Axe Maiden and Keeper Pack Leader found in the Open World became tired of throwing so many axes, and now they use their Axe Assault spell less often.
-
- Axe Assault (Keeper pack Leader and Axe Maiden).
-
- Number of throws: 6 to 3
-
- Spells can only be cast if the player’s health is at least 50%
-
- Earthkeeper Shaman:
-
- Displays a red arrow if a player is a target for a melee attack
-
- Attack range: 5.5m – 6m
-
- Attack angle: 90deg – 60deg
Duel –
Duels are now limited to a maximum duration of five minutes. After that, they will end in a draw. During contests, a countdown displays at the top of your screen, showing how much time is left.
Other Modifications
Shift-clicking an item to be sent to inventory will work if a secondary tab or inventory tab is open.
-
- The chat window is now closed by default
-
- Combat Balance Changes
-
- Heal your sick
Healing Sickness can now be triggered only by Nature and Holy Staff to expand the possibilities of team and item combinations. Healing Sickness is not triggered by healing performed using any other item (such as Rejuvenating Sprint or Blood Bandit, Bloodlust or Blessed Aurora, and even Arcane Staffs that use Holy Orb via Miri)
